Deadline: 5th Annual Midwest Regional Grad Conf

5th Annual Midwest Regional Graduate Philosophy Conference

October 21-22, 2011 Northern Illinois University

Keynote Speaker: Keith DeRose, Yale University

Friday, October 21, 3:00 p.m., Holmes Student Center, University Suite


Submissions of approximately 3,000 words in length on any topic in mainstream analytic philosophy are welcome. Papers relating to the work of Keith DeRose are encouraged. Submissions accessible to a general philosophical audience will be favored.


Please send the following as separate attachments in .doc or .pdf format to

1. A cover page that contains the following information:

i. Author’s name

ii. Institutional affiliation

iii. Contact information (email, phone number, mailing address)

iv. Title of Paper

v. Word count

vi. The area of the paper (e.g. metaphysics, epistemology, ethics, etc.)

2. The paper itself, with a title page containing the title of the paper and an abstract of no more than 150 words. This file should be free of identifying information.
