The Postgraduate Journal of Aesthetics invites high quality contributions from graduate students for its Autumn 2011 issue (vol. 8 no. 2). Successful contributions will be published alongside an interview with Dominic Lopes.
PJA is one of the few postgraduate journals where submissions are reviewed by academics rather than students.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: 1 August 2011
Submissions may be on any topic in aesthetics and philosophy art. The PJA welcomes papers from diverse perspectives (including analytic, continental and historical ones). Submissions should be accessible, concise and have recognisably philosophical content. They should be roughly 3,000 words in length, but not longer than 3,500. On issues of formatting (referencing style, etc.) authors should consult the current issue of the journal at: http://www.british-aesthetics.org/pjacurrent.aspx
Papers should be submitted in Rich Text Format (.rtf) via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org with ‘PJA submission’ in the subject line. No identifying information about the author is to be included in the paper; but please state your name and institutional affiliation in the body of the email.
Submitted papers will be reviewed blind by the PJA editorial board.
