Philosophy Graduate Student Association
Eighteenth Annual Graduate Conference in Philosophy
April 1 & 2, 2011

Keynote Speaker:
Dr. Diana Raffman

Author of Language, Music, and Mind

We welcome high quality submissions in the areas of language, mind, and art, broadly construed, and other areas of analytic philosophy, from graduate students in philosophy. Papers may individually address one of these themes, or address their interrelation. Given Dr. Raffman’s work on vagueness, we also welcome submissions in this area as well.

Philosophy Graduate Student Association Department of Philosophy University of Waterloo Submissions should be between 4000 and 5000 words. They must be prepared for blind review and must include, on a detachable cover sheet, the following information:

• Paper title
• Author’s name
• Institutional affiliation
• Address/e-mail address
• Telephone number
• Word count
• A short abstract
