Pilot of Poster Sessions at the 2011 APA Pacific Division Meeting
San Diego, April 20 - 23, 2011
The APA Pacific Division is piloting refereed poster presentations at its 2011 Annual Meeting, April 20-23 in San Diego, California. For this pilot, submissions are restricted to philosophy of mind, broadly understood (as including philosophy of psychology, neurophilosophy, and philosophically-oriented cognitive science). The Program Committee encourages submissions of research whose substance and significance is effectively communicated through the format of a poster and a short abstract.
Submissions should take the form of two abstracts, one of up to 150 words and a second not exceeding 750 words in length, both prepared for blind review. The deadline is September 1, 2010. Only electronic submissions through the Pacific Division web site will be refereed. All authors must be APA members. Dual submissions of a poster presentation together with a colloquium or symposium paper are permitted, so long as they are not the same work; and both a poster presentation and a colloquium or symposium paper may be accepted.
