5th Annual Meeting of the
Comparative and Continental Philosophy Circle
April 8-11, 2010 in Honolulu

The 5th annual meeting of the CCPC will be at the Tokai University Pacific
Center in Honolulu this April 8 to April 11, 2010.

The CCPC has been meeting nationally since 2006 and regionally since 1995.
Please join us in our 16th year of conversations on Comparative and
Continental philosophy.

Presentations will be considered for publication in Comparative and
 Continental Philosophy: http://www.equinoxjournals.com/ojs/index.php/CCP/index

This year we are delighted to have John Sallis, Boston College, and Roger
Ames, University of Hawai`i, as our featured speakers. We are also very
pleased to have Mine Hideki of Kwansei Gakuin University as our special
 guest.

There will also be a special session devoted to John Sallis' new book,
Transfigurements: On the True Sense of Art and a special session will be
dedicated to a presentation by Mine Hideki.

To help defray the extra costs of flying to Hawai’i, we have arranged some very attractive and affordable lodging rates at Tokai University. Send electronic abstracts, papers, or inquiries to this year’s program chair, Michael Schwartz, by February 21, 2010: mschwart@aug.edu.
